Gasthof Giegengrun in Hartmannsdorf bei Kirchberg

A short hike includes a visit to the Erzgebirge parlor with folk art and then to the Giegengrün inn. Nice rooms, homely flair and very good, tasty food.

My companion and I have been here again to eat ... and this time again, without exception, very satisfied. 👍👍👍 The restaurant is cozy and looks very neat throughout. The place by the warm tiled stove ... in cool October weather ... a dream. 🙂 The food came in a timely manner and was extremely good. The really inviting, friendly and attentive gentleman in the service should also be emphasized! We wish the whole team of the Gasthaus Giegengrün a good time through the Corona era. Boys and girls ... hold on! We want to keep coming to you. 🍀🍀🍀

The delicious and plentiful home-style cuisine. You are welcomed very nicely and here the guest is still king. You take time for a personal conversation with the guests. You always like to come back here.

The dining room and the garden are very nice. The food is also delicious. What we didn't like at all was the very unmotivated waiter. We had the impression that every one of our orders got on his nerves and that he longed for the end of the day. Sorry that doesn't work at all, especially since we and our friends left around € 200 for food and drinks. After 7.45 p.m. no more guests will be received for dinner or they will be sent away again. This is also a bad habit in this country that we e.g. have never seen it in Austria. So there is nothing with tourism in the Vogtland and Ore Mountains ... Visited on 08/25/2020 (evening)

1:15 p.m. were there as a couple, were rejected although there were still some places in the outside area available. Impossible like that, I'll never go there again.

Today we had dinner with our dog in the beer garden when the weather was fine. It was very well attended, but we found a cozy place, the food came quickly and was super tasty and sufficient. Prices were fully in order and reasonable. Waiter very friendly and all in all highly recommended. we will be back.

The meal was okay. No more and no less. The ambience is very nice because the surroundings are beautiful.

Very friendly condition, food very good. One star less for waiting too long for the soot. 1h15 min is too slow. But a family outing is worthwhile.
